Mark August
Mark August (Director of Marketing/Public Relations) hails from Pittsburgh, PA, where he graduated with a BFA in Theatre at Point Park University and was given the “Rising Star Award ” by Jimmy Miller of Mosaic Media Group. So far in New York, his acting credits include Michael Wiley in Susan Stroehman’s Contact, Orlando in As You Like It, and several appearances in ABC’s One Life to Live and in feature films. He is also the co-founder of “The Rusty Guns,” a new band that showcases his singing/songwriting talents and his twelve years of five-string bluegrass banjo study. For four years Mark has also been the owner and operator of August Nation, a business based around personalized health supplementation and sports nutrition. He believes creativity with the right motivation brings humanity one step closer to God, and has complete faith in Mortal Folly Theatre and its mission statement. “All the world’s a stage”… Let’s make a difference on it.
